Videotheque 

Videotheque is an extensive online library of completed documentaries and advanced rough cuts available for broadcasters, distributors, sales agents and festival programmers to view.

Videotheque content is primarily for acquisition purposes, and is 
accessible all year-round.

Films can be submitted at any time throughout the year and are uploaded for a 12 month subscription period with the option for future renewal.

Access to the online Videotheque Screening Room is available to all Screening Room Members.

Throughout the year, the online Screening Room will continue to be marketed to its subscribers - specifically executive producers, broadcasters, distributors, sales agents and film festival programmers – ensuring maximum exposure for the uploaded films.

The Videotheque online catalogue contains the film for viewing as well as the filmmakers’ contact details and a synopsis of each documentary project.   These details become live as soon as films are submitted to Videotheque.
 


Submission Options
 

1. Self-service online submission - $50 per project for 1 year subscription.
 

Complete the online submission form including online payment via credit/debit card and then upload a Quicktime file of your film to the ftp server

  • Please ensure your Quicktime file is named with your submission order number - the order number is provided once payment is made.   

  • Please also ensure your Quicktime file is saved with .mov extension.

     

To upload your submission using FTP software, you are required to download and install the FTP software FileZilla.  This is a small program that is free to download from a secure site which will take a few minutes at most depending on your internet connection. 

 

  • Please watch the instruction video before completing your submission form.

     

Sales agents and distributors are entitled to a discounted subscription fee.  Please contact us for more information.
 

2. AIDC-serviced online submission - $80 per project for a 1 year subscription.


Complete the online submission form including online payment via credit/debit card and then send the Quicktime file of your film on disk to AIDC. 

Please note, this must be a Quicktime file on disc, not a DVD.  We are unable to convert your DVD to Quicktime.

AIDC will then upload your file to the ftp server.
