Videotheque Submissions
Videotheque is an online video catalogue that is looking for completed documentaries that are ready for acquistion or festival screenings.
If you have a suitable documentary upload it now.
Videotheque submissions are viewed by international and national broadcasters, sales agents, festival programmers, etc.
You can also provide your industry contacts with a direct link to your submission, so that they can view your documentary - a great self marketing tool.

How to Submit
Videotheque is open all year-round so you can submit at any time.
The online form has a save function. You can save your submission at each step and return to it at a later date.
1) Create a Quicktime file of your documentary. Please follow these specifications to ensure successful streaming.
2) Sign in and complete the online submission form and payment. You will need to provide the following information: (If you have forgotten your password, click here. If you don't have an account then simply create one when you access the online submission form.)
- Title
- Logline - The story concept in one captivating sentence. Maximum 30 words.
- Synopsis - Maximum 100 words
- Countries of Production, Co-Production and Filming
- Production details including year, shooting format, running time, etc
- Producer's, Director's and Writer's Biography (150 words maximum each) and previous credits
- Broadcasters and/or Distributors already secured
- Festival screenings or Awards
- x2 high resolution .jpeg images (approximately 1MB in size)
3) Name your Quicktime file with the submission order number, and the file extension .mov.
Your order number is provided once payment has been made. If you do not rename your file as specified, it will not be accepted by the FTP server.
4) Upload your Quicktime file to the FTP server.
- If you already use FTP software then please connect to the AIDC/Screening Room FTP server via ftp://aidc.com.au
- If you are not familiar with FTP software, then please download FileZilla (a free download from a secure site) and follow the onscreen video instructions (top right hand side of the page).

Costs
$50 per submission
(Alternatively $80 per submission. This cost is if you are unable to upload your Quicktime file via FTP, then you can send it to us on USB/YouSentIt and we can upload it for you. NB you must send us your Quicktime file as per the specifications. DVDs will not be accepted.)
