Science Exchange

Presented by Royal Institution of Australia (RiAus) in association with AIDC.

Science producers and broadcasters are eligible and invited to become members of the Screening Room and view Science Exchange online.

Science Exchange connects scientists with science producers and broadcasters, to create collaborative science-documentary projects for the internet, television or feature documentary release.

As of February 2010, shortlisted science stories will be available to view online. The submitted materials include the detailed story idea, images, and key information about the scientist or team of scientists behind the stories. 

After viewing the Science Exchange submissions, members can contact the scientists directly through DocExchange, the online networking platform that facilitates discussion between members.

Eligible members are also invited to attend the Science Exchange pitch session, where all shortlisted science stories will be pitched by the scientists. This session will be held on Tuesday 23 February at the Royal Institution of Australia Science Exchange building in Adelaide.  

Science Exchange will be available to view by eligible members,  from February 2010.
